Quiet Waters is a not-for-profit corporation and an apostolate that involves the entire Tremblay family, as well as many others. Phil and Tracy Tremblay have been blessed with 7 children aged 8 to 21, who are all part of our live Rosary Musicals JOY, LIGHT, SORROW and GLORY, as well as our packaging and shipping departments!
In the Jubilee Year of 2000, we acquired a recording studio and launched several recording projects. We currently record Contemporary Christian music, and special projects, as well as our weekly music program, The Quiet Waters Music Hour. We are blessed to have this show air on the Holy Family Communications Radio Stations (1 PM Saturdays) WLOF Buffalo and WHIC Rochester, as well as our Family Rosary (weeknights 7PM).
Brandon Lata, a Franciscan University of Steubenville graduate, has made musical and engineering contributions essential to every QWP recording. Currently our Recording Engineer and Producer, we are blessed to have Brandon!
With permission from Rachel Watkins, author of the Little Flower Girls' Club Guides, we developed the Little Flowers' albums Little Flowers Virtues and Verses Wreath 1&2, and Wreath 3. We designed and produced the 32 embroidered Little Flowers badges and Bonnie Novak sews our deluxe sashes.
Laura Boronski, a very talented mom of 9, coauthored and sang on the LF recordings with the help of many talented children from the Boronski, Tremblay, and Hernek families. Marie Batt and Caitlin Weiss also lent their vocal talents to the recordings. Laura recorded her family oriented pro-life album of original music, Who? and her devotional work The Stations of the Cross. Laura has written many of our Rosary Musical songs, and continue to play parts in our live productions. Laura and Jeff currently live in South Carolina.
Bob Fera, a very talented musician and band leader, recorded some of his stirring Catholic music in Looking Down His Path and Jacob's Well. Together with his wife Julie, they are raising their 13 children here in North Collins. This talented family man ministers with his music at Life Teen Masses at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lakeview, and throughout Western New York during liturgies, concerts and radio appearances.
Miriam Gallaher created the Learn Spanish with Grace! The Catholic Approach to Learning Spanish textbook and series. This is a colorful, song-filled, God-centered way to learn this foreign language. Miriam, her husband Patrick, and their 5 children live in Arkansas where Miriam is currently working on a sequel to the LSWG text book.
Rebecca Pawloski has joined us every summer since 2005, bringing a video dimension to our offerings. We now have JOY, LIGHT, SORROW and GLORY on DVD. Together with Sara Boehk (joiner since 2006) the girls have also run Srodowiskos... or summer retreat/media events that encourage youth to pray use the media to the glory of God. They are both entering into the their fifth year at the Lateran Pontifical University in Rome, Italy, this year finishing their Theology degree.
We are proud to have taken on several outside projects that help further the Kingdom of God. To date, Fr. Bill Quinlivan has recorded 3 albums, and one video with us. We have also helped produce the CFR's Sacred Chant CD, and other recordings by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal.
In our new studio located at the Cabrini Cultural Center in Collins Center, NY, we would be happy to help your project come to fruition that bring Glory to God!
